Agoraweb Platform
Introduction
Between 2013 and 2020, the rise of social media networks made it crucial to be visible on multiple platforms. However, managing multiple profiles, regular postings, and maintaining an online image was time-consuming. Agoraweb was created to streamline this process, similar to Hootsuite, by allowing users to manage their communication across all social networks from one platform.
Project Scope
Agoraweb offered a comprehensive solution for social media management:
- Unified Publishing: Users could prepare and schedule posts with all necessary details (images, text, hashtags, links, events) for multiple platforms simultaneously.
- API Integration and Parsing: Utilized social media APIs where available or parsed websites directly when APIs were not provided, to automate the publishing process.
- Specialization for Associations: Over time, Agoraweb specialized in serving associations, adding features like member management, donation management, internal communication tools, and event management.
Technical Implementation
- Framework: Developed using robust back-end technologies.
- Database: SQL for handling extensive data management requirements.
- APIs and Parsing: Integrated various social media APIs and developed web scraping tools for platforms without APIs.
